
Levine Children’s Hospital
The Martin Truex Jr. Special Needs fund was established in 2011 at the Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH) in Charlotte, NC. The fund’s main focus is to help deserving families of children being treated at LCH. The assistance helps provide everything from unexpected emergencies, to support groups programs, special equipment and in some instances, temporary housing that enables families to be together and be there for their child.
It is only through the generous donations of our Foundation supporters and from the proceeds raised at the annual Catwalk for a Cause, that so many children and their families receive this special assistance.
LCH opened their doors in October 2007. As a brand new 234-bed children’s hospital, it combines the medical expertise the community already relies on with a spectacular new state-of-the-art facility designed to care for the physical and emotional needs of children and their families.
